Recently commissioned anechoic chamber in Europe

AGC commissioned, in March 2019, an anechoic chamber facility in Gosselies (Belgium) for the development of automotive on-glass antennas. In the near-future mobility society, cars will need to have V2X, or vehicleto-everything, communication using cameras, LiDARs, sensors and other devices. Automotive glass is currently playing an increasingly important role as an antenna/ gateway for radio wave transmission and reception. The design and development of such products requires advanced simulation and high-precision measuring technologies. The completion of the new facility will create a tripolar R&D framework, the first of its kind, for automotive on-glass antennas in Japan, the United States, and Europe as AGC works to support customer R&D activities on a global scale.
